NIKUM started with a simple frustration: the hoodies we loved wearing were never the hoodies we loved looking at. Heavy, well-made fleece came blank; the good graphics came on thin, boxy blanks that gave up after a winter.
So we put the two together. Every NIKUM piece is built on the Independent Trading Co. IND4000 – a 10 oz, 70/30 cotton-poly fleece with a brushed interior, ribbed cuffs and a hood that holds its shape – and printed to order with designs we draw ourselves.
Two families
Heritage Crests – ski clubs, rowing crews, golf societies, fishing lodges, roasteries and trail outfitters that never existed — but feel like they should have. Vintage-inspired lettering, crests, laurels, oars and thistles.
Natural History – fine illustrations inspired by old scientific folios and the natural world. The luna moth, great horned owl, grey wolf, fly agaric and more — rendered with a vintage engraving character and a darker, timeless feel.
Made to order
Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be sold. Each NIKUM hoodie is produced after you place your order, in the USA. Production takes 2–5 business days, and most US orders arrive within 7–12 business days. It costs us a little more and takes a little longer – and it means every piece is made for one person.
